The apartment building under construction in Niittykumpu, designed by us, will be completed in October. Finishing works are currently underway for the interiors, balconies, courtyards, and facade masonry.<\/p>

Principal designer Kari Lepp\u00e4nen got to lay the final courses of brick on the facade under the guidance of mason Igor. Wienerberger’s red brick is jointed using a specialized smooth joint technique, which gives the on-site masonry facades a handcrafted feel.<\/p>

On-site masonry brick has been used versatilely in the facades, including in the form of lace and relief bricks. Relief bricks have been laid into the stairwell sandwich elements at the element factory, forming visually striking “Verso” relief works that stand out in the cityscape.<\/p>
