Frank Lloyd Wright Home and Studio at Oak Park Chicago

The Home and Studio at Oak Parkissa Chicago represents Frank Lloyd Wright´s prerie style, which the architect developed further at his work 1900-1913. Many of his later period of work can be seen at Oak Park.

Open space consept, horizontal architecture, long cantilevered roof and organic material were typical for prerie houses. Connection to the nature through large windows connected landscape to the interior of the house.
